       The smart agriculture demonstration and application activity with the theme of "pioneer spirit, wisdom leading" was held in the 7,<>-mu national-level coastal saline-alkali land rice improvement demonstration base in Chengyang District, Qingdao. The main venue of the event is located in Shangma Street, Chengyang District, Qingdao City, and there are <> branch venues in Aktao Prefecture, Yuepu Lake in Kashgar, Ruian in Wenzhou, Nanniwan in Yan'an, Yuwang in Weifang, Weichuan in Henan and Daqing in Heilongjiang.
       The project base introduced Okeqi's "intelligent farmland planting environment monitoring Internet of Things system", aiming at the characteristics of wide distribution of agricultural field planting, multiple monitoring points, difficulty in wiring and power supply, etc., taking digital farmland and farmland remote management as the entry point, using Internet of Things technology and using the network to build a unified and convenient information interaction platform.
 

 
       Farmland microclimate observation stations can directly measure conventional meteorological factors (atmospheric temperature, ambient humidity, average wind speed and direction, instantaneous wind speed and direction, precipitation, light hours, direct solar radiation, dew point temperature, soil temperature, soil heat flux, soil moisture, foliar humidity), and can also measure evaporation, solar photosynthetically effective radiation and other elements. When this information exceeds the normal range, users can take timely preventive measures to mitigate the losses caused by natural disasters and better guide agricultural production.
       Of China's 15.3 billion mu of saline-alkali land, about 1 million mu have the potential to be converted into farmland. By promoting the cultivation of seawater rice, turning hundreds of millions of mu of barren land into a granary has always been the expectation of Yuan Longping, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the "father of hybrid rice". Yuan Longping believes that if China can develop 300 million mu of saline-alkali land to grow rice, the mu yield will reach 300 kg, which can increase the total output by <> billion kg, and the effect on ensuring China's food security is immeasurable.
