The timber stock of these mountain coniferous forests accounts for more than 97% of Xinjiang's total timber stock.
In order to further do a good job in the prevention and control of pests and diseases in forest areas, the management bureau entrusted Okuchi to build a state-owned forestry pest prevention and control station in the Tianshan Reserve, equipped with forestry biological monitoring and control equipment: intelligent spore capture system, automatic insect detection and reporting lamp, agricultural and forestry microclimate collection equipment, high-definition monitoring equipment for forest diseases and pests, the system is based on advanced wireless sensors, Internet of Things, cloud platform, big data and the Internet and other information technologies, by moisture sensor, seedling disaster camera, insect detection and reporting light, network digital camera, and early warning and forecasting system, expert system, information management platform. The system investment will provide scientific prevention and control of forestry diseases and pests in the Ili River Valley.
At present, all the equipment of the forest pest monitoring point has been officially put into operation, providing stronger protection for the forest resources of the Tianshan Mountains through intelligent monitoring and scientific prevention and control, and building a stronger green barrier to protect the beautiful mountains and rivers of the Ili River Valley.
